Meadu Residence

A 1970s floor plan that fought the view it was built for.

The house had the lot and the light, and a wall in the middle of both. Opening it up meant a new beam, a rebuilt roofline over the great room, and rerouting most of the mechanical.

The owners stayed through most of it. That shaped the sequence more than anything on the drawings: one working bathroom and a functioning kitchen at all times, which meant building the new one before touching the old.

Nine months, one point of contact, and a punch list closed before the final invoice.
